SPEEDY GOMERA › Orcas / Killer whales off the coast of La Gomera

On April 10th, 2017 our Speedy guests and us we got to enjoy Orcas. A group of 6 to 7 animals showed up quite close to the south coast of La Gomera and we very much appreciated this unique sighting.

Spring holds a lot of great sightings for whale watchers off the coast of La Gomera, that´s nothing new, but this sighting was not only for our Speedy guests, but also for us a real surprise. The Orcas, also known as killer whales came pretty close to the boat, so everyone could take a good look at these beautiful marine mammals.
