20.08.2018: Orcas (Killer whales) & Pilot whales

Sightings August 20th, 2018: what a sensational Sighting…. a pod of Orcas (Killer whales) showing up pretty close off the coast of La Gomera. Just that is spectacular, but it got even better when we got to observe a large group of pilot whales chasing the orcas away.

Just a few weeks back Orcas were sighted off the south coast of Tenerife, but that time it was the other way around, the orcas killed a pilot whale.
